Volunteer Opportunities

We are very blessed on our campus to have a strong and devoted volunteer corps. Having so many dedicated volunteers not only allows us to offer more activity programming and allows us to do larger special events; but the knowledge to our residents that the community still cares and that they are still part of the community is a real benefit. Whether it is short term commitment for a school project, or being here 2-3 days a week, each minute given is a minute extra of love and caring our residents receive.

Our volunteers are able to run activity programs, visit with residents one on one, assist in the garden, care for birds, assist with special events or outings, and just help out where we need it.

The most valuable thing volunteers bring to our campus are their smiles, compassion, and giving hearts.

1:1 Visits with residents are always welcomed. It is helpful to be assigned to a specific resident so that a relationship can be established. It is recommended that visits take place at least 1x per week.
